Aged for 20 years in Panama before reaching France at its full maturity and natural alcoholic strength, it is further aged for 6 months in Maison Peyrat’s Cognac barrels to impart roundness and an unexpected softness. This exceptional Rum in the fullness of its age makes its first impression with a bouquet of sweet and heady aromas of caramel, enhanced by rare notes of vanilla and oak with tobacco overtones.
Its pronounced, strong and complex structure is asserted by a rich brown color with golden highlights. Aromatically, the rum displays a balanced range of intense notes of figs, Bourbon vanilla and toasted nuts. As expected, the finish is long, almost Cognac-like, making this rum a unique experience of measured richness and refined elegance.
